Above is the approved email signature for Cal Poly faculty and staff. By following these guidelines, we present a more unified, professional appearance when sending official university communications. Images are not recommended as they may not be seen by all recipients.
For styling, see visual call outs above. Choose Arial as the email signature font. It is considered a standard font across PC and Mac platforms and is also considered a browser safe font.
Black is recommended for your first and last name. A dark gray hue is recommended for all the text below your name.
The email signature should not include an image or logo (including the university logo); any other custom signature or mark; or vCards.
Note: If you use both Outlook Web App and Outlook and want a signature in both, you need to create a signature in each.
